Garden Report

My plants are coming up!! Check it out, I will have blooms on these tulips soon. I don't remember what color these are going to be. It will be a surprise.
My seedlings are going to get bigger pots this weekend. The peas and squash are doing really great, the cherry tomatoes and herbs are doing fine, but my tomatoes are not doing very well.

Alien Invasion!

We went out for lunch today to Space Aliens, a very boy-friendly restaraunt with a space theme, an arcade, and surprisingly yummy grown up food.

Peaceful Sunday

We had a nice quiet Easter Sunday. We watched General Conference, had an Easter feast , and had a Family Home Evening lesson on the Resurrection. I numbered 12 plastic eggs with a scripture and an item pertaining to the Crucifixion and Resurrection inside. I had done this in previous years with six eggs, and this year I decided to do 12. Having all of the Easter Bunny stuff out of the way made for a lovely and peaceful day.

Easter Eggs!

We celebrated the "Easter Egg" part of Easter today. We had baskets, a community egg hunt and our traditional egg hunt and dinner at Gramie's. Isaac and Amelia both thought that egg hunts were really fun! Ethan is so fast as he races around that I really did not get very good pictures of him, but he got a lot of eggs! I was so happy to watch Alex hunt, there are still some things he is not too old and too cool for, thank goodness.

Scavenger Hunt at MOA

We headed to the Mall of America today, and I made a scavenger hunt for the big boys. They had a fun time with the camera, and searching for things. Here is a copy of the list they had, and a few of my favorite shots they got.

April Fools!

I tricked the boys this morning with this breakfast. I made the "eggs" last night with marshmallows and apricot halves, the "toast" is pound cake, and half their glass of orange juice was frozen solid, so it was "stuck" in the glass!! The fruit is real though, I had to have some nutritional value.
