April Showers and Tiny Flowers

We have had several days in a row of rain. Wonderful night time thunderstorms, and daytime showers that smell like spring time. My hyacinths and tulips are starting to bloom and the grass is turning green. Spring is really here!

Princess Millie

Amelia is a girly girl and I love it so much. I encourage the girliness at every opportunity. She found this tiara with a veil at the dollar section of Target today and had to have it. She wore it around the yard, quite pleased with herself. She put up quite a fuss when it was time to take it off for bed. She knows she is a princess.

Walking on Broken Glass

The van window was broken in the church parking lot on Sunday. Who would do that? They broke it to get a diaper bag, full of scripture stories and crayons. The kids were a bit freaked out, it was quite a surprise! Isaac was actually pretty unfased by it all. He said "It is OK if the bad guys took the diaper bag, I go in the potty now. " The kids and I were grateful to get a ride home from a friend while Mike waited for the police. We were also blessed to be able to borrow a vehicle from another friend to go to Grandpa and Nana's for dinner. Monday was spent taking care of the logistics of a new window, but all is safe, sound and whole now.

Sunday Clothes

I actually managed to get a picture of all three boys, in their church clothes, looking at the camera. (kind of) It is like a miracle! Amelia, however was not in the mood for a photo session. Because General Conference was on Easter, they got to wear new spring outfits today.

Digging a Ditch

This lovely ditch in our yard has grand aspirations. Someday very soon, it will be a garden path. Mike spent all day digging this trench, and it now needs landscaping timbers, crushed rock, a liner and gravel to reach it's full potential. Watch for updates on it's progress!

Backyard Baseball

The guys played a bit of backyard baseball this evening. Isaac is a good batter! It was a clear, slightly chilly spring evening and they had a good time. Ethan struck Mike out with his signature fast ball. It made me so happy and grateful to watch them. Wonderful boys have wonderful dads, and I am so glad that Mike is such a great Daddy to our boys. He is of course, a wonderful father to Amelia as well. She was a cute little cheerleader, picking up stray balls, laughing and clapping.
